WHO WE ARE

We are a Swiss holiday resort that is particularly well suited for family holidays. The tourism service providers gear their offers specifically to the needs of the "family" guest group. We continuously seek to improve the quality of, and pay special attention to the sustainability of our services.

WHAT WE WANT

Our aim is to offer children, together with their parents or accompanying adults, a stay that fully meets their wishes and needs. Family-friendliness is at the heart of our efforts and is supported by all signatory service providers as well as the local population.

We recognise the quality criteria of the FAMILY DESTINATION label, which are binding for all awarded locations and are periodically reviewed by independent experts.

As beautiful as the Valais itself, its culinary specialities are irresistible. In our rustic and elegant "Le Chalet" with its beautiful sun terrace, we serve you the versatile, traditional Valais fresh cuisine consisting of local ingredients and products. A wide range of first-class wines completes every menu with heavenly bouquets.

Starting from 6th of July, we look forward to delighting our guests with our culinary offerings once again.

Opening hours from 6th July 2024:
Tuesday - Saturday: 4:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Sunday: 7.30 AM - 4:00 PM
Monday: Closed

For various events with 25 or more guests and menu arrangements, please do not hesitate to contact us.

The Desirée Bar

"The meeting place for aperitifs & before bedtime"
Our sun-spoiled Valais is famous for its fine wines, and you can taste and enjoy many of them in our hotel bar in a cosy, rustic atmosphere. The same applies of course to various beers, cocktails and non-alcoholic refreshments. Our hotel bar is the ideal place to review a great day with friends and to end it pleasantly.

Les Trois Fondues

Les trois Fondues" is in any case an invention of the host and host Donat Ruppen, which is the result of his host passion as well as his inventive talent. Already presented in 2006 at the Inventors' Fair and to this day repeatedly awarded, you can try and enjoy three different types of fondue with this irresistible invention!

The Caquelon is not only suitable as an unusual gift idea or for restaurant operators, but also provides for sociable and enjoyable evenings in private households!

Our kitchen philosophy

Traditional and Regional

The cuisine of "Le Chalet" is inspired by recipes from all over the world. It is traditional, authentic and southern Mediterranean, light, elegant and cheerful - and above all a homage to Valais in all its diversity. All the dishes are intended to invite you to enjoy the good and the noble, the original, the traditional and the modern from the Valais cuisine, in tune with the four seasons.
